Scarva SR-10 Mermaid Lagoon Glaze 500ml

The Scarva Studio Reactive glazes have been developed for cone 5/6 stoneware firing, each giving an exciting and unique effect creating beautiful results on all sorts of ware.

SR-01 Shipwreck is a stunning cone 5/6 glaze that breaks and pools beautifully over texture and rims. SR-01 Shipwreck shows brown where applied thinly and floats from indigos to sky blues where thicker.

Suggested firing range - Orton Cone 6, for example 150°C per hour to 1000°C, with a final heating ramp of 75°C per hour with a soak of 20 minutes to cone 6 temperature.

Try applying over decorating slips or layer with other glazes. The thickness of application and number of coats will affect the outcome. Testing is strongly recommended.
These glazes are developed to give reactive results without running off the pot. They are relatively stable on stoneware bodies at the recommended firing temperature of cone 6.
