1kg sample bag Based on PF 700, this is a superior white porcelain-like clay which is more reliable and easier to work with than porcelain. Not as translucent as porcelain unless in very thin cross-sections at high temperatures. However, it is just as white, has all the qualities as a good stoneware body and produces porcelain-like results at a lower cost. Formulated from the purest, highest quality white clays to give a porcelain-like appearance without the difficulties that working with porcelain can create. Has the addition of 80s mesh molochite to aid in the production of larger pieces. Can also be used for small hand built and coiled pots. Suitable for hand building, coiling and and modelling. Texture: Medium textured 8 Colour: Very white. Firing Range: 1180-1300°C
