PC-5828 Glaze Hydrometer

Glaze Hydrometer. Glass casing with a weighted bulb and scale reading. To use, wet the hydrometer and gently place, bulb first, into the glaze slop or clay slip where it will float like a fishing float and the scale can be read.
Approximate ranges (for guidance only):.
Dipping or pouring coloured glaze: 55.
Dipping or pouring clear glaze: 46-47.
Spraying glazes: 60.
Brushing glazes: 60-65
