Pre-mixed and ready to use, Mayco Kiln Wash protects kiln shelves from glaze adherence and is also effective for repairing damaged shelves. Great for use with the Mayco Engobe glazes.
Generally - use a soft fan or hake brush to apply 2-3 coats, allowing the glaze to dry in-between coats and thoroughly afterwards. Fire from cone 5/6-10. See label for additional firing information for individual glazes and cone 10 performance. Always test in your kiln on your chosen clay body.
