Description
Apply to ware with a brush or sponge to prevent glaze application in designated areas. Should be peeled off before firing.
Can also be applied with a tool such as an old toothbrush to achieve a splatter effect.
Liquid Latex makes very economical, strong and durable strip-off moulds for the casting of plasters, cements and waxes. Moulds are made by either dipping or by painting on layers of latex onto the original to build up to the required thickness. As Latex cures when it dries the thickness of the layers, the room temperature and the item being cast will have a bearing on the casting time. Scarva latex is high quality containing up to 60.5% solids. This latex is also low ammonia however we recommend using in a well-ventilated room. A faster build-up of latex when painting can be achieved by using Latex thickener.
