Ceramica Collet Vulcan Medium

A stoneware which fires brown/black in an oxidising atmosphere. Metallic finish with blue shades in reduction. Contains a medium grog (up to 35 mesh) and has been formulated especially for artistic ceramics. High plasticity makes it ideal for modelling. Widely used for murals and sculpture and is ideal for hand building. Do not rush the cooling process - when fired, leave in the kiln to cool down naturally and keep the bungs or vent plugs in place until ambient temperature is reached. Texture: 4-5 Colour: Black/brownish black Firing Range: 1200-1260°C
