Botz Earthenware 9606 Lava 200ml

Orange-red in a vivid orange peel surface with a gloss finish. Tends to white at the edges. Very bright when raku fired. Don't set too closely in the kiln. Supply oxygen. Consistent in firing range 1020-1060°C. Recommended firing temperature 1050°C with a 10-20 minute soak.

To apply - stir the glaze thoroughly and apply the first coat onto clean, dust-free biscuit ware. Use a soft brush. The second coat can be applied when the first coat is dry. A third coat may be necessary, depending on your own application thickness. For best results leave the glaze to dry overnight.
