An intensive semi-transparent blue-turquoise glaze with a gloss finish. Becomes more greenish if fired to 1100°C. Consistent in the firing range 1020-1060°C. Recommended firing temperature 1050°C with a 10-20 minute soak. Use inks, acrylic paints or even strong tea to enhance the crackles. Very radiant if fired on bright clay or porcelain. Suitable for raku. To apply - stir the glaze thoroughly and apply the first coat onto clean, dust-free biscuit ware. Use a soft brush. The second coat can be applied when the first coat is dry. A third coat may be necessary, depending on your own application thickness. For best results leave the glaze to dry overnight.
