Botz Earthenware 9351 Clear Crackle 200ml

Apply 1 coat ONLY. Consistent in firing range 1020-1060°C. Recommended firing temperature 1050°C with a 10-20 minute soak. To prevent formation of blisters, do your biscuit firing at 1000 degrees. Blisters can develop with certain clay bodies when applied on both sides or all around a piece. Cracking can be reinforced in time, even up to a week after firing. If crackles do not develop the glaze can be removed from the kiln at about 100°and quenched with cold water. Use inks, acrylic paints or even strong tea to enhance the crackles.
