Amaco High Fire HF-9 Zinc Free Clear 472ml

A zinc-free, clear, transparent high fire glaze. The presence of zinc in a glaze formula may change the appearance of certain colours (green, black, grey, etc.). A zinc-free clear is very important for application over underglaze decoration. Any variation in colour intensity of the underglazes will then depend on the individual colour stability at Cone 5. Use a soft fan or hake brush to apply. Three coats generally - see product label for specific instructions. Non-toxic and food safe. Dinnerware safe when applied and fired to the recommended temperature.
