Amaco Celadon C-32 Ochre 472ml

Like the beautiful ancient glazes they are modelled after, these glazes are glossy, transparent and pool beautifully giving vivid accents to textured and carved surfaces. Colours are mixable for a customised palette. Try layering with other Celadon glazes and Potter's Choice glazes.

Use a soft fan or hake brush to apply. Three coats generally - see product label for specific instructions. Fire to cone 5-6. Non-toxic and food safe.

Samples are shown fired on white stoneware clay, in an electric kiln.

Please note Amaco have advised this glaze gets thick faster than other glazes. They recommend decanting it out of the pint jar to something larger and adding distilled water until it is the consistency of the other celadons. After this, test the glaze to make sure once 3 coats have been applied, there is no cracking or peeling from the bisque. If cracking or peeling is present, mix one tablespoon of Amaco Gum Solution into the glaze.
