Attractively flecked stoneware body, based on ball clay and fireclay deposits. Flecking burns through covering glazes attractively, giving a reduction fired appearance under oxidising conditions. Kiln batts must be well coated with batt wash to prevent sticking. Suitable for domestic ware and especially good for throwing. Also suitable for hand building, general domestic and large domestic ware. Texture: Medium 4 Colour: Off-white Firing Range: 1150-1290°C
