Kiln Firing

If you need a space to fire your pieces, we can help you. We have a beautiful EESEX EKC199 front loader which has been lovingly cared for by some very handy in-house engineers.

Our staff have years of knowledge and experience in firing a range of clays and glazes to look after your hard work.

We offer earthenware and stoneware bisque firings, as well as any brand glaze firings.

We usually fire on Mondays (excluding bank holidays) and Thursdays. Advance booking is advised. Please telephone 01536 726361 or email us at info@corbykilns.co.uk to make a booking and we will advise on availability of slots.

All work to be fired must be dropped off by close of business on the prior working day.

* Please be aware half kiln load bookings can increase waiting times for firing due to compatibility of pieces. Glazes which include a flux and are at higher risk of running may not be suitable for kiln sharing.

Specific firing schedules, which differ from our standard programmes, can be accommodated at the charge of a full kiln load.
