Rohde Ecotop 43 Top Loading Kiln
A 13 amp kiln, that is still has a maximum temperature of 1300°C and designed to work at sustained temperatures of 1260°C. Up to 40% less energy consumption compared to previous models, leading to significant reduction of heat loss. The new insulation concept increases the application temperature. 3-layer insulation concept with 35 mm microporous back insulation. Optimised heat distribution due to special floor insulation.

Exhaust air socket for exhaust air connection. Stainless steel handles.
Castors on rear legs for ease of moving. Turntable kiln stand so you can alter the height of the kiln if required.
Robust, lightweight bevelled firebricks to prevent material falling onto ware. Thermocouple mounted in a safe postion. The lid sealing can be adjusted, and locked.

Fitted with ST310 digital controller - has 32 programmes, each with 2 controlled heating ramps, 1 hold time and 1 controlled cooling ramp, for complete control. Cooling ramps as well as heating ramps, so can be used for some glasswork. Wifi enabled and supplied with a USB stick. Keyboard lock. Fire continuation in case of power disruption. Energy consumption display. Set point display and alarm function.
Supplied with two kiln batts, and three each of tubular props - 25 mm, 50 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm, 0.5 kg bag of batt wash. Extra furniture is available if required. Semi-circular shelves are also available. Please ask for details.
