Foundations glazes available in Opaque, Sheer and Matte

Opaque colours produce a beautiful, smooth, high gloss finished and can be mixed to make your own colours.  It dries quickly, so you can fire the same day.  Can be used on leatherhard clay, as long as you allow an open area for outgassing during the firing process to avoid pinholing.  Many Foundations can be fired to a higher temperature without loss of colour.  Please check the label for information in this regard.  Testing is recommended.  

Sheer colours are soft and transluscent, allowing surface decorations and texture to show through.

Matte colours produce a beautiful muted colour.  It is recommended to use a soft fan brush and brush in one direction to minimise brush lines.  Can be fired to higher temperatures, which will result in more satin-like and glossier colours.
